Acadia Bardot

This Antique French high relief pressed brass button now adorns a size 8 sterling plated pewter ring 

We think it looks like a very fancy letter ‘A’ 😊

Acadia Bardot was a famous Parisian artist known for her whimsical  designs.  Her signature “crown” A was so popular that the Paris Passementerie Boutin Company commissioned rights to it. They produced her symbol on buttons and brooches from 1888 to 1901.
